Sheryl's Story

After graduating in 1987 I spent the summer with my best friend, Cindy Vasquez. Had a fantastic time with her. We had so much fun together that summer. At the end of summer I decided to go to Georgia to be with my family. I bought a new Toyota Cellica, worked in retail and started dating a wonderful guy Dennis Henry. He was very involved in church and I knew I was missing that most important relationship with my Lord and Savior and he gladly led me to Christ and for the first time in my life. I was so happy. All of the right things had fallen in place for me. I even joined the chior and served as President for youth. junior youth association. Unfortuneatly my happiness was short lived when Dennis's life had ended the following January. He'd been in a freak accident and his family and I grieved for so long. As time went on I knew I had to move forward and eventually met Scott Howe. He was my first husband. We had 13 happy years together and two beautiful boys, Troy and Trevor. Being a mother is the most rewarding role I get to play in my childrens lives. We raised them in church and made sure they had the guidance of God and prayed for each and everyday with them. Unfortuneatly the marriage eventually disolved. I took Troy and Trevor and the 3 of us started a new life in Atlanta. We lived with my best friend Theresa McClellan. I'm so blessed to have the people and my friends in my life. After a few years my job moved me to Macon Georgia ...Expand for more
which is where I meet the love of my life, Mark and I were married in June of 2007 in Vegas and had a blast! He's wonderful and I'm so blessed with my family and my wonderful children. Being a wife, mother and a working woman are 3 great rewards. I always wanted to be a florist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a lame idea. As it turns out, they were right. Pray for God's love and peace to surround me The wildest thing I ever did in school was sneak out of Theresa Salazar's house and we had been drinking so we weren't exactly quiet. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have computer, printer, and scanner to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My wonderful daddy. He passed away in July of 2004 and I miss him more that I ever thought possible The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Cindy Vasquez, because she was always my best friend. My dog Abbigayle and my 2 wonderful children of course! They've taught me to Love like I've never loved anything or anyone in my past. They are incredible Mrs. Armiger....she made learning fun. Also would love to see Mr. Windes from 8th grade history. My current age is 43. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be Old and grumpy. I was so completely wrong. My first crush was John Forsberg. I would've gotten over my first crush ALOT faster My oldest friend has to be Theresa Salazar. We met in 6th grade and we always had amazing fun when we were together!
